Älmhult Tamil Sangam

Bangiya Sanatan Samaj, Stockholm
associationStockholm Bengali association running Durga Puja since 1988, which it calls the oldest in the Nordics, plus Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja, a Boishakhi programme for Bengali New Year and a summer picnic. Membership is 100 kr a year.
Bengali Association of Gothenburg
associationGothenburg Bengali association. Its homepage carries a yearly event calendar as a poster — Saraswati Puja, Nabo Borsho, Yoga Day, a picnic, Mahalaya, Durga Puja, Bijoya Dashami, Kali Puja and an AGM — and some gatherings on it are marked members only. Bookings go through a page on the site.
Bengali Cultural Society of South Sweden
associationHelsingborg Bengali association, running Durgotsav there since at least 2017, plus Nababarsha for Bengali New Year and an Independence Day gathering. Registration for its events goes through the society's own mobile app rather than a ticket page.
BollywoodBio
promoterIndian film distributor for Sweden. As well as listing which cinema releases are Indian, it promotes its own one-off screenings and sells those tickets through Billetto.
Chinmaya Mission Stockholm
templeVedanta centre in Helenelund, near the Hindu Mandir, inaugurated in August 2025 by India's Ambassador to Sweden and run by Brahmachari Somesh Chaitanya. Weekly satsang for adults, bala vihar for children, youth groups and public lectures. It also runs a Gita Youth Camp for ages 18–35 with Chinmaya Mission UK — four days in July 2026 — which is the one dated thing in its year.

communityStockholm community group built around celebrating Indian festivals and keeping heritage and traditions alive locally.
Filmstaden
cinemaSweden's largest cinema chain. Indian releases play mainly at Heron City and Kista, and are labelled with the film's language on the site.
Goteborg Telugu Samithi
associationTelugu cultural association in Gothenburg. Holds Ugadi Veduka in spring and Deepavali Sambaralu in the autumn.
Gothenburg Tamil Sangam
associationTamil association in Göteborg, keeping Tamil language and culture alive in the city. Its events and festival tickets are booked through its own site.
Gröna Ladan
cinemaSigtuna’s town cinema, with 80 seats, run by the friends of Gröna Ladan. Mostly Swedish and family films, with the odd Indian release such as Ramayana. Tickets are sold through bio.se.
Gurdwara Sangat Sahib
templeThe oldest gurdwara in Sweden, at Dymmelkärrsvägen 23 in Tullinge, south of Stockholm. Open every day 06:00–20:00; the main service is on Sundays from 10:00 until about 14:00. Everyone is welcome — cover your head and take off your shoes. Also home to the youth organisation Swedish Sikhs.
Gurdwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha
templeSikh gurdwara in Angered, Göteborg, opened in 2002. Runs Punjabi classes every Sunday 11:00–12:00 and a weekly Gurmat class.
Hindu Mandir Society Stockholm
templeTemple in Helenelund, serving the Hindu community in Sweden since 1980. Publishes a full panchang of festival dates; individual programme times are announced separately.
Hindu Temple of Helsingborg
templeSanatan Dharma temple and community in Helsingborg, set up in 2022, at Kronoborgsgatan 3. Open weekdays 12–18 and weekends 16–18; offers rituals and ceremonies such as naamkaran, annaprashan and weddings, and a monthly bhandara (prasad meal).
Indian Association in Sweden
associationNationwide member association. Runs the big seasonal celebrations — Diwali Dhamaka, Royal Dandiya Utsav, Holi — with member and non-member ticket tiers.
Indian Cinema in Dalarna

Indique Collective — Stockholm Supperclub
supperclubSupper club cooking regional Indian menus for a table of strangers, a few dozen seats at a time in cafés around Stockholm. Announces on Meetup and takes bookings through Luma, so both carry the same event with full structured detail.
Indisk Barnklubb (IBK) Västerås

ISKCON Almviks Gård
templeHare Krishna farm and temple at Almviks Gård in Järna, which calls itself New Chaitanya Candrodaya Mandir. A Sunday programme runs every week, 14:00 to 16:30 — a Bhagavad-gita talk, an arati ceremony, music and a vegetarian feast, free with donations welcome — plus Vaishnava festivals through the year.
ISKCON Gothenburg
templeHare Krishna temple at Karl Johansgatan 57, Göteborg, with Govinda's vegetarian and vegan restaurant. Runs weekly programmes and the Ratha Yatra procession.
ISKCON New Radhakunda
templeRadha-Krishna temple at Korsnäs Gård in Grödinge, south of Stockholm, founded in 1976 and open daily. Home of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, with temple programmes, festivals, talks and reading circles.
Jain Society Sweden

Jönköping Ganeshotsav Mandal

Kala Kendra Sweden

Nordic Bengali Association
associationNew Stockholm Bengali association, running its first Durga Puja in Sweden at Sollentuna. Membership and a day or full-event pass; registration capped at 180 guests.
Nordic Council of Indian Diaspora
associationAdvocacy organisation for the Indian diaspora across the Nordics, linking the associations that work for Indian communities. Held a Diwali celebration in Sweden in 2025; nothing announced for 2026 yet.
Punjabi Cultural Society
communityGothenburg Punjabi community society (Blåsvädersgatan 14). Runs kids athletics, football, volleyball, kho-kho and bhangra evenings, and serves free coffee and fruit langar at Centralstationen.
Sambandh
associationBengali cultural association in Skåne. Holds a yearly Durgotsav (Durga Puja) in Helsingborg and Indisk Fiesta, a spring festival, and publishes the magazine Kashphul.
Sankirtan in Sweden
communityHare Krishna outreach group. Holds a harinam (street chanting) every Saturday in central Stockholm from about 13:30, starting in front of Åhlens on Drottninggatan and walking through Gamla Stan.
Sanskriti Center of Learning
schoolDance and music school in Solna teaching Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Bollywood dance and Indian classical and Bollywood singing, with weekly classes for children and adults. Stages shows for its students and community events such as Festival of Lights with Solna Stad.
Saraswathy Kalakendra
schoolBharatanatyam school run by Usha and Sweatha Balasundaram, teaching at Vårby and Västerås. Its events page also carries festivals other associations put on.
Sewa International Sweden
associationThe Swedish chapter of Sewa International Europe, a service charity. Runs Sewa Diwali each autumn in Järfälla to raise money for children's education in India, a Christmas greeting drive, and weekly Yog for Sewa yoga sessions in Stockholm.
SIKHA – Svensk-Indiska Kultur och Arvsförening
